Looking north from the Aptos Seascape park, Rio Del Mar Beach offers an evening walk to the Seacliff cement ship just visible in the background. The sun is setting over the Santa Cruz hills, indicating that this is a Summer evening. As Winter approaches the sun swings round to the West providing shorter, but often more cloud-dominated and spectacular Pacific sunsets.
