The brown volcanic cliffs of Santorini contrast sharply with the deep blue of the Aegean and the stark white of the cliff top buildings. The bright sunlight of the Mediterranean summer accentuates the colors and leaves the impression of a somewhat unreal picture. As for the boat in this picture, it's a long way down from here, but water access is available easily from the flatter eastern side of the island.
