Lynmouth's main street is short and usually packed with tourists in the summer season. But Lynmouth is not very close to other towns and it is so small that it is really a half-day for most visitors. It does of course have spectacular walks on the cliffs above the town and for the energetic is is possible to climb up to Exmoor and perhaps see the remaining herds of red deer. In winter it can be quite isolated-a positive aspect for many residents. |
